Payment methods
At Betterwood, we offer you the established, secure and fee-free payment providers that you are used to from online trading.
PayPal
If you pay with PayPal, you will be forwarded directly to PayPal from our checkout area. We do not charge any fees for orders via PayPal and you benefit from PayPal buyer protection. Your goods will be dispatched immediately and in the event of a return the amount will be credited to your PayPal account.
Klarna
If you pay with Klarna, you will be redirected from our checkout area to an external and secure payment form. You can then pay here using your online banking details – similar to the online transfer process at your bank. Your goods will be dispatched immediately and in the event of a return the amount will be credited to your bank account.
Prepayment
If you select prepayment as your payment method in the checkout area, the goods in your order will be reserved for you for 14 days. After placing your order, you will be shown our bank details to which you can transfer the amount of your order. You will also receive an e-mail with the necessary information. If we do not receive payment within 14 days, the reservation of the goods will be canceled and you will be informed of the cancellation by e-mail.
Credit card
Payment by credit card is possible via PayPal. Select the payment option “PayPal” in the checkout area and you will be forwarded directly to PayPal. You can then usually select credit card payment as an option. Your goods will be shipped directly and you benefit from PayPal buyer protection. Refunds for returns will be made to your PayPal account.
Pay later
To pay for your order 30 days after the date of purchase, select “PayPal” as the payment method in the checkout area and then click on the “Pay later” button. You will be forwarded directly to PayPal where you can complete the payment. Your goods will be dispatched immediately and you benefit from PayPal buyer protection. Refunds for returns will be made to your PayPal account.
Payment by installments
If you would like to pay for your order in installments over several months or years, select “PayPal” as the payment method in our checkout area. You will be redirected to PayPal where you can usually choose to pay in installments. This is the only payment method at Betterwood that incurs fees for the buyer.
