Tips for storing your garden furniture
Most garden furniture is currently made of materials that can easily withstand several winters outdoors. So does teak furniture. However, especially with wooden garden furniture, it doesn't hurt to store the furniture in a dry place in strong weather or during the cold and wet season. Garages or carports are suitable for this.
Protective covers should not be used. There is a high risk of moisture collecting under the cover and not being able to dry off. This can severely affect the durability of the wood. If you don't have any storage space, you can loosely place a tarpaulin over the furniture. Just make sure that enough air is getting to the wood.
