Maintain cutting boards

A wooden chopping board changes from the first time it is used. It will show its age, but if made from good wood and well finished it will give you many years of reliable service. You can find out here how you can keep the charm of your wood with the right wood care.

Proper and regular oiling

Wooden cutting boards are maintained with oil that is safe for food. This prevents cracks and dirt. Cooking oils, linseed oil or our special care oil for teak cutting boards are suitable for wood care. The oils are applied to the wood with a lint-free cotton cloth. Excess oil should be wiped off after 10 minutes. Oil your wooden cutting board once or twice a year. This will prevent the board from fading and cracking.
