Wooden terraces can vary in size. Small areas can sometimes also be delivered with the parcel service. As a rule, however, the delivery is carried out by a forwarding agent. Terrace construction - inform and screw

Building a wooden deck is not rocket science. With a saw, drill and our advice, this can usually be done without any major problems. You or your craftsman should only be well informed in advance about the basic rules such as sufficient ventilation or the correct distances between the screws. In our terrace guide already find the most important information. If you are not satisfied with individual planks: do not install them and please contact us. Even after completion, we are of course still there for you if you have any questions about our wood.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

For patios, we recommend particularly durable and weather-resistant hardwoods such as teak, cumaru, and garapa. These wood species have a high resistance class (1-2) and are ideal for outdoor use. Teak is particularly dimensionally stable, cumaru is very robust, and garapa offers a light, uniform appearance.

Planning: Measure the area and select the type of wood. Use our terrace planner for an individual offer.
Prepare the surface: Create a stable and well-drained surface (e.g. gravel or concrete).
Substructure: Lay a stable base made of wood or aluminum.
Laying planks: Fasten with stainless steel screws or concealed clips.
Finish: Treat the terrace with oil or wax to protect it from the weather.
