Deutsche Welle reports on Betterwood

Deutsche Welle broadcast a TV report about Betterwood in English on the first weekend of November – that was a great surprise. It was only through the many messages from Namibia, Korea, Chile and other countries that arrived in our inbox on Monday that we found out about the report.

Broadcast in over 160 countries

We are delighted and proud that our rainforest protection through tropical timber trade has received such a great response – and thanks to Deutsche Welle has now also been broadcast internationally in over 160 countries.

Incidentally, most of the viewer messages came from forest users and sawmill operators who wanted to find out more about converting their production to sustainable forestry. How good it is when the company’s vision has such a concrete effect: Promoting sustainable forestry and stopping the displacement of forests by agriculture.
