A wooden deck consists of much more than just wood. In addition to the obligatory decking boards and the substructure, you will also need a screw connection, decking pads or pedestals and wood care. Depending on the construction method, drainage and ventilation profiles, root fleece and plank tensioning may also be necessary. Then of course there are the tools: circular saw or chop saw, cordless screwdriver with suitable bit, drill with suitable drill bit, spacer, spirit level and much more.
