ALUMINUM SUBSTRUCTURE

The aluminum substructure from BioMaderas was developed for wooden decking that may only reach a low installation height. The chamber system with two aluminum walls offers the decking screw a good hold and achieves a high static load. Aluminum is almost indestructible and very dimensionally stable. The rails can be easily shortened using a hacksaw. Please ensure that the boards and substructure are well ventilated and pre-drilled. The swelling and shrinkage of wood can lead to problems when combined with an aluminum substructure if the decking is not well ventilated and the wood and aluminum have not been pre-drilled.

Building instructions

The flat aluminum substructure from BioMaderas can be laid directly on a flat and solid surface. Recommended are decking pads are recommended for minor height compensation between the substructure and the foundation. If a greater installation height is to be achieved, you can use pedestals from BioMaderas can be used. BioMaderas decking screws or the concealed fastening system from BioMaderas can be installed with the substructure.
