You want a low installation height and don’t want to do without long decking boards – both are possible with the decking elements. If the subfloor is level and firm and the shape of the decking does not have any slopes or curves, installation will be very easy, quick and tool-free.
The alternatives are: Wooden tiles, which have a low installation height but a rather small-scale appearance. Or decking boards that are wide and long, but exceed the desired installation height of five centimeters.
