Maintaining chopping boards

A wooden chopping board changes from the first use. It will show its age, but if it is made of good wood and well finished, it will give you many years of faithful service. Find out here how you can preserve its charm with the right wood care.

Correct and regular oiling

Wooden cutting boards are treated with oil that is safe for food. This prevents cracks and soiling. Edible oils, linseed oil or our care oil specially formulated for teak cutting boards are suitable for wood care. The oils are applied to the wood with a lint-free cotton cloth. Excess oil should be removed after 10 minutes. Oil your wooden chopping board once or twice a year. This will prevent the board from fading and cracking.
