Consulting ” Decking boards ” Storage
Storage stands between delivery and installation. To prevent the wood from warping during this phase, please observe the following tips and instructions for proper storage
Store the decking boards horizontally.
Make sure there are enough support points so that the planks do not bend.
Avoid free-standing ends of the planks so that the plank ends do not twist.
Store the planks in a bound, dry and well-ventilated place – strapped with tension belts, for example.
Store wood outside or in unheated, well-ventilated rooms or shelters such as carports, garages or canopies.
Do not pack the wood airtight, otherwise moisture will easily collect and the boards will warp. Avoid rain and sun.
