CONSULTING ” DECKING BOARDS ” concealed screwing

Concealed screw connection for wooden decking

There are various systems for the concealed screwing of wooden decking. But which one is best suited and what are the different advantages and disadvantages? Our comparison gives you an overview.

Screw connection from below or lateral fastening?

The systems for concealed fastening of wooden decking can be divided into two construction methods. Some systems rely on the decking boards being screwed in from below, while others work by fastening the boards from the side. Both solutions offer different advantages and disadvantages. All in all, however, we have had better experiences with the screw connection from below, which is why we recommend this solution to our customers.
