CONSULTING ” DECKING BOARDS ” quality

The best decking board quality

Before our decking boards achieve the quality that our customers are accustomed to, they have undergone a lengthy process. Here we give you a brief overview – from the forest to the terrace.

The choice of wood species

A good decking board cannot be made from an unsuitable type of wood. At Betterwood, we only process wood with very good technical properties (such as durability, risk of warping, surface structure). In addition, the wood must come from sustainable forestry – which does not increase the quality but improves the world.

The production

The sawmills for our decking boards are located in South America and Asia. What they all have in common: Qualified employees who are paid above fair trade standards and modern machines. Gentle chamber drying and professional planing are the prerequisites for high quality planks.
