The Früh decking board holders are suitable for decking boards with a width of 50mm to 75mm and 100mm to 145mm. They are available with stainless steel or galvanized screws.
You should proceed as follows when installing the Früh decking board brackets:
- Lay the decking boards with the underside facing upwards on the already laid wooden substructure.
- Mark the positions where the decking boards cross the substructure with a line.
- Screw the decking board brackets in an offset position as shown in the following diagram:
- When installing the first board, the decking board holder must be shortened and visibly screwed in, depending on the object, or it must be angled and screwed to the side of the supporting timber:
- Screw in the first screw in the round hole (2) after pre-drilling. For all plank widths, the stop pin (1) must be positioned at the edge or outside of the plank, i.e. in the joint area:
- Then screw the two other screws into the center of the holes (A, B, C) after pre-drilling.
- For plank widths of 50mm to 75mm, only insert two screws into the decking boards.
- Do not overtighten screws, always tighten to torque after pre-drilling.
- Turn the board with the installed decking board holder over and screw it to the support timbers in the round hole (3) after pre-drilling with the enclosed screws. Depending on the version, longer screws (5x30mm) may be included.
- Simply slide the next plank with the mounted plank holder under the previous plank and screw it back into the round hole (3) after pre-drilling.
- For the last plank, the plank holder must be shortened depending on the object and the plank visibly screwed down.
