You can either calculate the material requirements for your wooden decking yourself using simple formulas or conveniently use our online tools. The decking calculator gives you a quick estimate, while the decking planner creates a detailed material list including a laying plan and quotation.

The cost of a wooden deck varies depending on the type of wood, construction method and accessories – from approx. 100 €/m² for an inexpensive deck to approx. 265 €/m² for a high-quality deck. You can obtain a precise calculation using our decking calculator or an individual offer with installation plan using the decking planner; an additional €70/m² should be planned for the tradesman’s work.

Yes, Betterwood sends wood samples free of charge. Each sample is approx. 10 cm long and comes with a matching information flyer. There are small shipping costs for sending samples abroad.

Betterwood delivers wooden decking throughout Europe – depending on the length of the boards and total weight by parcel service, freight forwarder or direct delivery. Smaller orders up to 300 cm in length and 150 kg in weight are delivered by parcel service, larger deliveries are made on pallets by freight forwarder or by direct delivery for very long boards. It is important that you are on site for unloading when shipping by forwarding agent.

Always store decking boards horizontally and with sufficient support points so that they do not warp or bend. The boards should be stored dry, well ventilated and protected from sun and rain in a carport, garage or under a canopy – preferably secured with tensioning straps, but never packed airtight.
