All Betterwood wood products – and of course the decking boards and structural timber – come from sustainable forestry in Latin America or Asia. High social standards must be adhered to during processing, which are significantly higher than the typical national requirements.
We import directly and without intermediaries and therefore have direct contact with the suppliers. We can therefore personally check the working conditions and the sustainability of forestry. In addition, the suppliers and our company are inspected by independent Rainforest Alliance auditors for compliance with the FSC® standard. Only goods that fully and unequivocally meet the high social and ecological standards are awarded the FSC®-100% certificate.
