The seat height is crucial
The golden rule for the seat height of your garden chairs is that it should be between 40-50 cm. Of course, the optimum seat height depends on your own height. However, as you usually have people of different sizes in your family or among your guests, a middle ground is a good idea.
This is how
our garden chairs
for example, have a seat height of 44 or 46 cm. If you have back or hip problems, you can raise the seat height slightly. In addition to normal pillows, orthopaedic pillows or a wedge pillow, for example, are suitable for this. A higher sitting position makes it easier for you to find space on the chairs and stand up more easily, and also relieves pressure on your hips and groin. This can significantly improve sitting comfort, especially as you get older.
