Tips for storing your garden furniture
Most garden furniture is currently made of materials that can easily withstand several winters outdoors. Teak furniture is no exception. Nevertheless, it is a good idea to store wooden garden furniture in a dry place, especially in severe weather or during the cold and wet season. A garage or carport, for example, are suitable for this purpose.
You should not use protective covers. There is a high risk that moisture will collect under the cover and cannot dry out. This can severely impair the durability of the wood. If you do not have any storage space, you can place a loose tarpaulin over the furniture. Just make sure that there is still enough air reaching the wood.
