Laying
The walls must be checked for squareness before installation. If you orientate yourself to a sloping wall, the installed parquet will look crooked if the other walls are straight. It’s better to stretch a guide line or timber and then lay the parquet straight in the room and to the other walls. The gaps resulting from the alignment are filled in at the end.
In addition, before laying, the laying directiondepending on the space available and the desired look: diagonal or straight.
Before the parquet is laid, it should be stored horizontally in its packaging for approx. 48 hours in the room in which it is to be laid. The room temperature should be between 18 and 24. This gives the wood enough time to acclimatize.
