Planning wooden tiles

Here you can find out how to calculate your requirements for wooden tiles for your balcony and terrace, what costs you should expect and what you should bear in mind when buying online.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

For wooden tiles measuring 30 × 30 cm, the calculated requirement is 11.11 tiles per square meter (as 0.3 m × 0.3 m = 0.09 m² per tile). In practice, however, you should plan a little more to allow for offcuts, adjustments to edges and corners and possible replacement tiles.

A rule of thumb is to calculate approx. 12-13 tiles per square meter to be on the safe side.

Note: These prices are calculated per square meter. Additional costs may arise due to offcuts, shipping, optional maintenance or discounts.

In the case of forwarding delivery, delivery is made to the kerbside, the pallet remains with the customer. The shipping costs depend on the weight and are between €10 and €150 for wooden tiles.

We recommend a thickness of 30mm to 40mm for kitchen worktops. This thickness ensures maximum stability, load-bearing capacity and an impressive appearance. Our 30mm and 40mm thick solid wood kitchen worktops are particularly robust and are ideal for worktops that are subject to heavy daily use.

Yes, Betterwood sends out free wood samples of the wood tiles so that you can check the hardness and surface in advance. There are only shipping costs.
