The wooden decking elements are much easier and quicker to install than wooden decking made from decking boards. If the surface is level and firm, all you need is a hammer to fix the spacers in the desired places and a saw to adjust the dimensions at the edges of the decking. The terrace elements can be easily carried by two people. Many square meters can be laid within an hour.
Any level and firm surface is suitable for laying wooden decking elements. Minor unevenness is automatically leveled out by the elements thanks to the integrated rubber feet. If we provide you with a installation plan you will see the position in which each element must be laid.
- Start in a corner of the planned patio area. Use a hammer to tap two of the small spacers into the sides of the first element, where another element rests. This allows you to achieve a constant joint width between the elements. The joint width between the elements corresponds to the joint width of the decking boards on the decking.
- Place the next panel against the first panel and connect the panels at the adjacent corners on the underside with the plastic ties. If you cannot reach one of the corners (e.g. if an adjacent house wall prevents this), it is not a problem. As assembly progresses, the stability of the elements to each other also increases.
- Then place the next element and connect at the adjacent corners. Repeat these steps until your decking is finished,
If you would like to screw your decking from the decking modules to a wooden substructure, this is also possible. Please inform us before ordering so that we do not attach rubber feet when installing the elements in this case. In this case, the substructure of the element must be screwed to the installed wooden substructure at four corners using narrow stainless steel screws (50 mm long).
