FSC save Forest

Protect by using: The main cause of the destruction of the rainforest is its displacement by agriculture. By buying FSC-certified wood, people in the tropics can live from sustainable forestry. The forest becomes their livelihood and thus worth protecting. Wood with the FSC 100% seal is regularly subjected to independent inspections and comes from forests that are preserved in the long term precisely because of their management. Timber without FSC certification may be legal, but it can always come from clear-cutting.

The SVLK certificate is issued by the Indonesian timber assurance program and meets the criteria of sustainable and social forestry through the additional standard PHPL.

BioMaderas stands for a new approach to the timber trade: sustainable, fair and transparent. The wood comes from responsible forestry and the products are developed in partnership with the forest users. A high level of care during processing ensures an exceptional standard of quality. The direct import without intermediate trade enables a particularly good price-performance ratio.
