Simple installation

Laying wooden decking elements is also effortless with Cumaru wood. The elements are manufactured to fit the planned area and generally only need to be laid out. If you need help with planning, simply use our terrace planner.

The substructures

As with the elements made of Garapa , jatoba and teak we also offer the Cumaru elements with two variants in the substructure: The flat substructure for installation on flat and solid surfaces, such as a balcony. The strong substructure for installation above ground or on steep slopes.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Cumaru is one of the hardest and most durable woods in the world. It is classified in resistance class 1 and has a minimum service life of 25 years outdoors. Its high resistance to weathering, pests and moisture makes it ideal for decking elements. Cumaru is also kiln-dried, which increases its stability and dimensional stability.

Prepare the substructure: Use a stable hardwood substructure (e.g. Cumaru).
Aligning the elements: Position the pre-assembled elements on the substructure.
Fastening: Fasten with concealed screws or clips.
Observe clearances: Maintain a 2 cm clearance to fixed structures for sufficient ventilation.

Highest durability: Resistance class 1, ideal for outdoor use.
Stability: Technically dried, minimizing warping.
Sustainability: FSC®-certified, from responsible forestry.
Aesthetics: Elegant brown to red-brown tones with a smooth surface.

Cleaning: Clean regularly with water and a soft brush.
Oiling: Treat with special wood oil once or twice a year to maintain the color intensity.
Ventilation: Ensure sufficient air circulation to prevent waterlogging.
