Wood panels for furniture construction
Our wooden panels are ideal for furniture construction. Regardless of whether you want to build shelves, cupboard doors or kitchen units: you will find the right material made of teak or mahogany with us. The 18mm thick wooden panels made of teak or mahogany are usually used for shelves and cupboard doors. Corpuses and shelves can be built very well from the stronger variants with a thickness of 40mm. If you wish, we can supply you with the panels already cut to length and width for your project.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Step 1: Sand the surface of the wood board smooth and remove dust.
Step 2: Apply primer to close pores.
Step 3: Seal the board with clear varnish, oil or wax, depending on the desired finish.
Step 4: Allow the sealant to dry thoroughly and apply a second coat if necessary.
Solid wood panels made of teak or oak are particularly suitable because they are durable, moisture-resistant and cut-resistant.
Solid wood panels: Consist of continuous wood, are more stable, more durable and can be sanded multiple times.
Veneer panels: Have a thin layer of wood on a base board, are lighter and cheaper, but less robust.
Lightweight and sturdy panels such as 18 mm thick solid wood are ideal for shelves and cabinet bodies.
