What is B-stock?
If a piece of wood does not meet our high quality requirements, it is sorted out and is considered B-goods. The wood defects can vary depending on the product type. In the case of terrace wood, it is mostly planing errors, knotholes and dimensional tolerances. Cracks, planing errors and also dimensional tolerances often occur with table tops. In the case of cutting boards, there are usually errors in the gluing or splintering.
What are remaining items?
Remnants are products of which we only have a small number of stocks. When it comes to quality, however, no compromises have to be made here. However, if you later want to reorder the same product, it may already be sold out.
What about sustainability?
No compromises in the origin and sustainability of the wood - this of course also applies to our remaining stock and B-stock. With us you will only find FSC®-certified wood or products from the Global Forest and Trade Network of the World Wildlife Foundation.
