What is B-goods?
If a piece of wood does not meet our high quality standards, it is sorted out and classified as B goods. The wood defects can vary depending on the product type. In the case of terrace timber, these are usually planing errors, knotholes and dimensional tolerances. Cracks, planing errors and dimensional tolerances often occur in table tops. In the case of cutting boards, it is usually defects in the gluing or splintering.
What are remnants?
Remaining stocks are products of which we only have a small amount left. However, there is no need to compromise on quality here. However, if you want to reorder the same product later, it may already be sold out.
What about sustainability?
No compromises in the origin and sustainability of the wood – this naturally also applies to our remaining stock and B goods. You will only find FSC®-certified wood or products from the Global Forest and Trade Network of the World Wildlife Foundation.
